"Angles" by Thomas DeSoto
The Seven Universal Signs "Angles" tho separately invented have meant the same to ancient civilizations all over the world. Here I tried to unify humanity and nature as one using one of the Seven Universal Signs through composition and framing. The Angle represents the destiny of humanity. It's seen in the sky's above and the birds migrating South for the winter each season.. When the apex points south it represents the female womb of fertility. It's written down on our palms and can be seen in our limbs when we move our body's in motion. The Arrow Head brought life to ancient man and the sharks teeth provided weapons for protection and decorative artifacts for trade. This image was shot on PolaPan instant Black and white film. This unique image appears as it was created. No cropping or enhancement of any kind was used on this image. The Canadian Geese were double exposed a few weeks later. My hope was to unveil natures true beauty in agreement with nature, for it is the inward and not the outward where natures true beauty lies hidden. Triangles, Circles, Ovals,Crosses, Spiral Eights, Angles and The Torus/Hexagons are the Seven Universal Signs that can all be found in nature today. By Thomas DeSoto Director of Photography.
