"Circles" by Thomas DeSoto
The Seven Universal Signs "Circles" tho separately invented have meant the same to ancient civilizations all over the world. Here I tried to unify humanity and nature as one using one of the Seven Universal Signs through composition and framing. The Circle Sign, is the sign with no beginning and no end, a never ending circular motion of continuation, The Yin and the Yang, living in continuous harmony, high rest on low, front follows back, Black frames White, what comes around goes around, etc,... This image was shot on PolaPan instant Black and White slide film. This unique image has not been altered in any way, it appears as it was created. No cropping or enhancement of any kind was used on this image. My hope was to unveil natures true beauty in agreement with nature, for it is the inward and not the outward where natures beauty truly lies. Triangles, Circles, Ovals, Crosses, Spiral Eights, Angles and The Torus/Hexagons are the Seven Universal Signs that can all be found in nature today. Conceived and created by Thomas DeSoto Director of Photography.
